Stretch and Flexibility

We underestimate the importance of stretching. It is vital to protect our mobility and independence. Stretching keeps the muscles strong, flexible and healthy and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles become tight, shorten and this puts you at risk for joint pain, strains and muscle damage.

This class will teach you how to stretch correctly, how to maintain a daily stretching routine (one day of stretching isn’t magically going to give you the flexibility you desire) and keep you accountable (we are going to measure our success over the course of 12 weeks!).
