Ballet Fitness Junior is a one hour total body workout for children between the ages of 9 and 15.
This class is a wonderful addition to a young dancer’s weekly schedule and will help to build strength, flexibility and stamina. It will also provide the student with a better understanding of their body and how best to take care of their health and fitness. The class is also open to non-dancers who are looking to increase their fitness in a fun and engaging way.
Sarah is a trained dancer and qualified ballet teacher (RAD), has trained in both Progressing Ballet Technique and Maria Fay floor barre and is a certified Animal Flow Instructor. This class will incorporate elements of each of these disciplines.
Your child will need to bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. Please can they wear something comfortable but tight fitting. Leggings and a top are ideal. Bare feet or socks are fine but ballet shoes can also be worn. Hair must be tied back away from the face and no jewellery should be worn.
